The policy is also inspired by Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, grouped in the Group established by art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on May 17, 2001, to identify some minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, timing, and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection.

THE "CONTROLLER" OF THE PROCESSING

Following the consultation of this site, data related to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.

The "controller" of their processing is LES MALOU ACCESSORIES

No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated. Personal data provided by users who submit requests for sending informational material (newsletters, answers to questions, opinions, quotes, contacts, and similar) are used only to perform the service or provision requested and are communicated to third parties only where this is necessary for that purpose (information material or advertising shipping service).

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data. The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interests, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. In this category of data are IP addresses or the domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, at present, web contact data do not persist for more than thirty days and in any case no longer than necessary to fulfill the requests made. Data provided voluntarily by the user the optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the missive.

COOKIES (WHAT THEY ARE AND HOW THEY ARE USED)

The "cookie" is a short text file that is inserted by a website onto the user's computer hard drive. Cookies allow a connection between the user's computer, their navigation of the Site, and the profile potentially created by the User: they are not personal in nature, but can be linked to personal information.

The cookies used by www.lesmalou.it are temporary (they do not remain on the User's hard drive once the session is over): when the User connects, the cookies make their recognition possible.

We also use cookies for statistical purposes regarding the use of services.

"Cookies then distinguish between "session" and "persistent" cookies, the former are deleted upon closing the browser, the latter are stored on the disk of the concerned/visitor until their expiration.

Session cookies used aim to speed up the analysis of Internet traffic and facilitate user access to services offered by the site.

Session cookies are mainly used during authentication, authorization, and navigation in services accessed via registration.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies.

The User can choose to disable receiving cookies by setting their browser according to the instructions provided below. If the User decides not to accept cookies, they may still visit the Site, but it may not be possible for them to fully or partly use the services offered (for example, access as a registered User, use of the "Address Book" and "Wish List", etc.).

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not persistently stored on the user's computer and vanish with the closing of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers, necessary to enable safe and efficient exploration of the site.

So-called session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other potentially prejudicial computer techniques for the privacy of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identifying data of the user.

For navigation within the site/sites, the following navigation data are collected:

. IP address

. session cookies

. login attempts

Such data are technical in nature, have temporary validity and are not collected for the purpose of identifying unregistered users but, because of their operation and in combination with other data held by third parties (e.g., the internet connection provider of the concerned), could allow their identification.

Even if the functions of the plug-in are used (for example, by clicking on the "Like" button or posting a comment), the information will be associated with the Facebook or Twitter account.

Further information on the collection and use of data by Facebook or Twitter, as well as on the rights and ways available to protect the concerned's privacy in this context, are available in the Facebook or Twitter data protection section.

If the concerned does not wish to associate the visit to our web pages with their Facebook or Twitter account, they must log out of Facebook or Twitter before visiting them.
